Race: Youkai possibly Kappa demon
Personality: Jaken is a skittish little demon, that over blows every little tiny that that happens to him. If his master Sesshoumaru gives him the faintest sign of compassion, he erupts into fits of tears. Of course this also goes the other way too. He'll sometimes start running around frantically believing that since something went wrong, it's all his fault, and that Sesshoumaru will punish him in some strange overblown way. He'll follow his master Sesshoumaru to the ends of the earth and back. Anywhere Sesshoumaru is Jaken won't be far behind. His greatest joy in life is to receive acknowledgment from Sesshoumaru.

Jaken gave up everything he knew to follow Sesshoumaru. He gave up his status as a noble leader to serve as little more than a servant. Jaken can be very grumpy, and when ever he has to interact with people who aren't Sesshoumaru, he'll grumble and complain. He often attests to watching Rin, but whenever she's hungry, he goes and finds her some food. Jaken whines alot too. This goes in hand with his grumpiness to makes dealing with him almost as bad as dealing with Sesshoumaru.

Jaken cares very little for other people, and like most other youkai Jaken doesn't like dealing with humans. He'll belittle them, and praise the superiority of Sesshoumaru over them. Although Jaken may not seem it, he is a proud demon. This may stem from his past as a great ruler, or it may just be that he thinks that him being a servant of Sesshoumaru makes him better than others. When Jaken comments on being Sesshoumaru's servant he'll puff out his chest, and announce it proudly.

Although Jaken is usually non caring for most people, he has a special place for Rin in his heart. Jaken will complain about being around Rin, but he always goes out and gets her food even though he might complain a bit.
Powers/Weapons: the Staff of Heads- The Staff of Heads is Jakens only weapon, and it has a wide range of abilities. It can spit fire from one of the mouths, and can also create large reserves of water. Jaken's staff also has the ability to track Inutaisho's tomb, and to activate said tomb. The staff is also very good at delivering a quick whack to the head.
History: Before Jaken became Sesshoumaru's servant, he himself was a master of many demons similar to himself. During a battle against the demons who controlled the eastern mountains. Jaken fought valiantly against their leader, but was beaten. In short the demon was about to eat him. However, Sesshoumaru appeared and demeaned that the female demon moved. When the demon stood it's ground, Sesshoumaru easily chopped the arms of the demon off, effectively saving Jaken. Using the same attack he easily destroyed the rest of the opposing army's forces. Jaken commanded his forces to stand down, and all of them watched with animosity as Sesshoumaru passed by. Jaken admired Sesshoumaru, and ran after him, telling his followers to fend for themselves.

Jaken followed Sesshoumaru, ran in front of him, and thanked him for saving his life, and that the only way he could repay was if he allowed him to become his servant. Sesshoumaru continued walking, and ignored Jaken completely. Jaken continued following Sesshoumaru, despite him ignoring him no matter what Jaken tried. Finally Sesshoumaru reached into a waterfall, grabbed a strange looking staff, and threw it at Jaken, he told him if he could use it Jaken could serve him. Jaken yelped out of joy, and he barely caught the thing. Jaken pleaded that Sesshoumaru told him his name, and after he did, Jaken never left his side.
