Love is a Battlefield
Race: Ryu Youkai
Personality:
Arashi is quite the odd ball, that’s for sure. Although, that’s merely as he appears. He has a facade, and that’s to be an extremely happy person who smiles almost 24/7. In his façade he is always in a really good mood, he likes being social, he doesn’t mind to sing, play and have fun. He loves to laugh, and tell jokes. He’s just an all around happy guy, fun to be around, although some may find that his attitude disgusts them, seeing as he is freakishly happy, nice and friendly ALL THE TIME.
This isn’t really what he is though, but he likes to keep what he really is, on the inside, because he’s ashamed of his inner self. He is really harsh, cold, sadistic, and probably, insane, which you can imagine is a dangerous combination. Most of his friends don’t know about this side of him, infact, only few people know of the real Arashi, which is just fine with him, because he enjoys being his happy self a lot more then his dark side…
Powers/Weapons:
- He is very fast, but not all that strong
- He can manipulate and control the element of water at his will- this ability is limited though, he can’t control whole rivers or anything, that’s for sure, though what he can do, he’s good at.
- He can also freeze water into ice.
- He can fly when in demon form, but not in human form.
History:
Arashi was born raised and lived in a western village. When he was first born his parents couldn't have been happier. He had a pretty normal childhood, though he often had to go to be an apprentice. He was being an apprentice to become a blacksmith. His master was sometimes harsh to him, though he was only a child. When he got home from a long day, his family would welcome him home.
When Arashi grew up to about 17 years old, he was becoming a very skilled blacksmith, but not skilled enough to be called a professional. Although, he decided that he had come that far, and decided not to give up on it, even though he couldn’t help but to feel a little discouraged.
When he had grown a bit older, he moved out of the western village and was ready to face the world, for what it was, as a blacksmith. Arashi hoped to oneday meet the famous Totosai. His hope has yet to come true, but he seems to have occupied himself.
Currently, Arashi is a traveling blacksmith. He has refused to get himself mixed up with all the commotion to do with the Sacred jewel, the new jewel shards and all the revived people. He doesn't mind making weapons for people, but not just anyone. They must ask nicely, and if he feels a bad vibe from them, he will refuse to make them anything~

Arashi looked ahead of him as he walked on. Right in front of him was an old looking bridge. He stopped before he dared to walk across it. As a blacksmith, he was thorough in inspecting things, not only weapons, but things in general, it was like some sort of thing he always did.. It was strange, but he didn’t really care, the inspecting skills came in handy every now and then.
He looked at the bridge and scanned it with his eyes. It didn’t look as if anyone had walked across it recently, although he began to doubt that was the case. “Hmm..” He said, thinking out loud. He then, did something daring. He put one of his feet on the bridge. It made a loud creaking sound as he did. He soon, put the rest of his body weight on that one foot. It seemed to hold him, so, he was happy about this.
He smiled as he was now about to happily walk across the bridge, although it was reckless, he had totally forgotten about how bad it looked not long ago. When he was about half way across one of the wooden steps snapped under his weight. He found himself to be lucky, he had gotten a hold of the step in front of him, and surprisingly enough, it didn’t snap.
He was now dangling from very high up, he kept trying to pull himself up but just couldn’t seem to get it. He didn’t want to let go because he didn’t know how far down the bottom was. “Umm… Hello? Anyone there?” He called, wondering if anyone was in the area who could give him a hand up.
