JUST CLOSE THE DOOR 'CAUSE IT'S ALL COMING BACK------------------
Today was a rare day indeed for Sesshoumaru, lord of the west to return to his castle. Most of the time he had avoided this place. He didn’t like it. Even after centuries, the scent was still there. The memories haunting him was still in this castle. His eyes lowered to the point where he was narrowing. He hated this place. It had far too many memories for his taste. Far too much that he cannot detach. As usual though there were guards. Amazing how they did not seem to become lazy and low on morale for guarding the castle day after day. It was not like anyone had been stupid enough to attack his castle. Of course he had always had it surrounded with guards just in case. He was a cautious man and he did not have time to return to the castle often which in his opinion was a good thing. He didn’t like it here. Even his mother was rarely ever here. She had good reasons to as well. They both did not like this place. Although unlike her he was forced to return to it every so often to see if anyone dare attack it.
Still this visit was different. The west has been calm lately. A strange thing but perhaps it was because he had more time to dispatch those that dare threaten his land ever since Naraku has died. He and Inuyasha, much to his own bewilderment has stopped their usual fights. That was mainly because he had left Rin in Kaede’s village though. She was safer there, he had lost her once, nor twice even and he did not want to lose her again. He had entrusted her to his brother and his little group. Why? The male had their father fangs. He was the best candidate seeing as the daiyoukai traveled around to put down and rebellions or attacks. She was not safe with him. As he walked down the massive hall, his footsteps echoing, he saw many demons. Most of them did not dare look at him in the eye. They feared him, hated him but yet also respected him. Respected his power and position. They knew that he was stronger than them and even more was the fact that he had no room for those who cannot do his job correctly. He already had too much to deal with, he did not want anything else. He was nothing like his father who was forgiving. Actually, he was one that held a grudge quite easily. Of course it was hard to tell when he does with his icy façade.
Reading him was not easy. Sesshoumaru was not the kind to wear his hearts on his sleeves. No, that was for the weak, those that lack control. He was able to contain such emotions unlike his brother and humans. Even youkais cannot contain their little emotions nor their instinct. He had prided, trained himself to be able to contain such thoughts. To be able to control himself and be collected at all-time not matter what. To not fall for such emotions. The emotions his father had felt that caused his death. The emotions for human creatures. That is except for perhaps Rin but he had kept his distance from her as well. Yet she was the only one to break through his barrier. Funny. When he had first met her and revived her it was to test his word. If she had been disobedient, loud, annoying, talkative, disrespectful or just about anything on his list of annoyance he would have been more than content to kill her. Let her taste death once again but she was different. She had respected him and obeyed his every command. She was loyal and therefore he had kept her alive. Although she had also been his weakness. Compassion, that was the word for it was it not? To care for someone and put them before yourself. Although unlike his father, he did not sacrifice his life for her. He had made sure that she was safe at all time with his own power. Always able to keep his emotions at bay so that they would never be able to see what she meant to him. How she was like a family to him. No, never would he allow anyone to see that.
That was weakness and therefore unacceptable. He hated any form of weakness. Sesshoumaru hated it within himself and everyone else that was around him. Even his own name, the name that meant killing perfection. He was to be perfect, he was to be strong. Never to succumb to anything. Age, emotions or even death itself. Nothing was to ever affect him. That was why he hated hanyous like Inuyasha who stained the blood of youkais. That was why he hated humans who were the personification of weakness. Clinging onto groups, never to be able to fight for themselves. Hiding behind the strong and even at times kissing up. How he hated it. How he hated them. Their weakness, their imperfections, just about everything. Even their existence irked him. As he walked down the path though, a youkai came up to him. A dog youkai who was a messenger. Apparently he had a guest today. A human guest. Rin? No, she would not come here, at least not without someone else. The miko? No, surely she would not visit him even if they were…much to his annoyance…in laws. Who could it be then? He was more than curious about this.
He followed the messenger over to the front gates. As they opened it up, he could not believe who it was. Standing right in front of him with her long black hair and pink kimono. In that graceful stance that he had hated. No, this could not be. This must have been an illusion but yet he knew this scent. It did not belong to anyone else. He can tell, it was not an unmother. It was his step mother, Izayoi. Why though? Why was she here? Why was she even alive in the first place? Why did she not visit her son. His eyes lowered slightly narrowed. He gestured for the guards to leave them alone. The closed the door behind her leaving her in his domain with no way out. ”Who are you?” he asked her, prepared to kill her with his own claws. Even if it was an illusion or a strange un-mother he had yet to meet, he did not care. He knew that he would enjoy killing her but part of his was curious. Why use an illusion or un-mother of this pathetic human?

Izayoi was looking at Sesshomaru. "I am Izayoi, but you knew that already right?" Izayoi asked. Izayoi didn't care that Sesshomaru was saying that towards her. She was trying so hard that she was going to do what she had wnated to do. She was there. His father, her husband had treated her with such respect that she had loved this. She was looking at him. "Sesshomaru, won't you let me in I want to be your stepmom even if it was too late now to get She was looking at him with a smile on her face. She couldn't belive that she was even here she was wanted to do a lot of things that she hadn't done. She was looking around trying to make sure that she was trying to be a great mother. She had wanted to do a lot of things that people hadn't seen her done. She was looking at Sesshomaru, and she had smiled. "You are quite handsome as your father said you would be." Izayoi said.
Izayoi was looking at him, and she had saw the strange look on his face that he couldn't believe that she was really alive once again. She was making sure that she was going to do a lot of things that she can't do anymore. She had to be protected because she was going through a lot of pain at the moment.
She was wondering if he was going to protect her, or if she was going to do a lot of things on her own she can't protect herself she doesn't know how. She was going to make sure that she was wanted to be Sesshomaru's mother as well.

JUST CLOSE THE DOOR 'CAUSE IT'S ALL COMING BACK------------------
"I am Izayoi, but you knew that already right?" He blinked, not believing for even for a second. Yet the scent. Her voice and even her personality. He lowered his eyes at her. How annoying she was. Part of him, his instinct, his emotions, he they wanted to just grab her throat. Hear her scream that would delight him so. Yes just to take grasp of her tiny vocal cord and kill her again. Yet he restrained himself, a part of him interested. If she really was revived, through a method he was quite unsure of, he was curious as to how she had chosen to visit him instead of her beloved son. If that hanyou can even be described as such as to the male he was nothing but a nuisance. The woman’s scent was not making him feeling any better either. Maybe he should not have returned to the castle but do something else instead. Too bad that did not happen though as prediction was not amongst his powers. He stared at her, gazing at her form. He had expected her to attack him. He had prepared himself for such situations but yet she made no sudden movements.
It seems she had continued to speak. "Sesshomaru, won't you let me in I want to be your stepmom?” Her actually act as a family member to him. He had almost scoffed, almost hit her, almost chuckled even at such an idiotic thought. She was lucky to even be in his presence. To make such a request, he did not understand his father’s taste in women one bit. She had smiled at him as if they had once been so close. Hmph, he had simply tolerated her, that was all. She had always been annoying. When he caught his father’s scent on her, how she had been close to his father, how she had conceived that hanyou, everything about her had irked him one way or another. Even how she had called his name and his name alone. No one had done that other than his parents. His real parents, his flesh and blood, not this woman that stood in front of him. Not this eye sore that was bringing back more memories than he would like. No, this person in front of him was not to be a part of his family. He could tolerate the miko girl. She was strong by human standards and Rin has taken a liking to her. The woman in front of him did not have such qualities. Even if she had stolen his father’s heart, he was anything but content with her. She was utterly annoying. Once again the idea of killing her crossed his mind. She was lucky, very fortunate that he was a collected daiyoukai. That unlike demons, he can control his instincts quite well.
He found himself glaring at her though. In all honesty, the daiyoukai was not sure who was worse. His half-brother, Naraku or this woman. "You are quite handsome as your father said you would be." To mention his father in front of him. Was this woman lusting for death? At least she did not mention his name. ”Refrain from trying to make us sound familiar to one another.” he warned…no ordered her. He did not care if she was his stepmother and the woman his father had decided to mate with. He had not time to deal with humans like her. “”Did Inuyasha push you away?” he asked almost mocking her.

"Yes, he did he thought something else, and pushed me away so here I am." Izayoi said. Izayoi was looking at him. She couldn't believe that she was actually talking to her stepson this was so unlike her. She was looking at him. She was wondering what she can do. She was wondering what she was going to do about that. She was wondering a lot of things. She was going to do, and she was looking at Sesshomaru, and she had turned around she was crying she hadn't wanted him to see her tears she had took a while to get around she was trying to make sure that she was going to do what she had wanted to do.
She didn't even looked at him, and she was only doing what she could do. She was looking away so he hadn't needed to look of her crying. She was pretty much just standing there with her back turn against him with tears going down her face. She was only wanted to make sure that she was usually did cry when she feels that no one was going to make her feel welcome. Do you want me to leave Sesshomaru where the demons can kill me I'm defenseless I can't fight anyone. Izayoi thought. She just stood there, and cried she was so emotional at the moment that she had felt like her heart is breaking in two.
She was loving him as a son she hadn't know why, but she had decided to say the words. "I love you Sesshomaru as a son, and I will never stop loving you no matter what it takes." Izayoi said. She was only wanted to make sure that no one was going to take away her love from him. She wasn't trying to do anything to harm Sesshomaru. She had always saw him as her son even though he is her husband's first son. "What I want to forget, is the pain that is too white. I had always told myself I would believe the scar won't go away." Izayoi said. Izayoi had just broke right there all her emotions were spinning around her head.
Izayoi had turned around, and her tears wouldn't stop falling down her face. I kill my voice, lowering my lips to your weakly trembling hand. Izayoi had thought. She was wanted to make sure that she was going to do a lot of things that she could do, but now her tears won't stop going down her face. She had looked at his sword. "You got Tenseiga?" Izayoi asked. She was trying to figured out why Sesshomaru had his father's sword, but she figured that Inutaisho had a pretty good reason why he had given Sesshomaru the sword.
She was wondered why she was going to go from here. She was waiting for her husband to come back to her. She didn't know that she was wanted to be Sesshomaru's mother until this moment. She was going to do a lot of things that she wanted to do. She was going to do a lot of things for Sesshomaru that she hadn't done before. She was looking around. "Such a beautiful castle." Izayoi said. Izayoi is still sentimental from her crying she is sensitive. |

JUST CLOSE THE DOOR 'CAUSE IT'S ALL COMING BACK------------------
"Yes, he did he thought something else, and pushed me away so here I am." she answered. To say that Sesshoumaru was shocked by her words would had been an understatement. When he had asked her, it was rhetorical and sarcastic. He did not expect this to have actually happened. It was merely a method to get her away from him. He stood there though, his eyes apathetic. Was he really the only person she could turn to? Had Inuyasha thought she was another un-mother? Well he would not blame the hanyou if that had been the case. After all the daiyoukai had fooled him, even if it had been Jaken’s plan. He was quite content killing that idiotic un-mother though. To protect someone that was not even her own child. Falling into her maternal instinct. Pathetic. She had not completed her job, she did not figure out where the sword was. He had to do it himself but he was not amazed. He usually had to do things by himself. He never exactly depended on anyone for anything. Not after his father died and he was left with tenseiga.
It seems that the words had affected her as she turned around. Did she seek sympathy for him? If so then she was not going to obtain any. He did not sympathize or pity anyone. If she had been in her current condition it had been because she was weak and defenseless. She had no one to blame but herself. Soon though he caught a strange salty scent. Could it? Yes, it was. She was crying now giving into the emotions of despair, most likely from Inuyasha rejecting her. A part of him had been content to see the woman wallow in her sorrow even if it had been silent. To see her try to act strong by turning away had been futile. He was a daiyoukai, his senses were higher than those of a human. It was not hard to tell that she was crying. Actually it had been child play. One thing plagued his mind though.
Why was she crying in front of him? Surely she did not seek sympathy. It had been obvious that he had hated her. Anyone with eyes can see that. Even if he never outwardly expressed it, he had done his best to ignore her. To avoid her no matter what. She had been like a plague. Whenever she had touched him when he had been young, he had made sure to burn his clothing to get rid of the human stench. Perhaps it had been childish but back then, she was like a monster to him. Something he would never want to touch. Always beside his father. He could not count how many times he had thought about killing her back then either. Although he had always seen her smile. Even though the servants would talk about her and spread rumors. Sesshoumaru himself had never involved himself in such matters though but she still managed to smile. She had showed more emotions, she had done something he found himself unable to do. For that he had hated her even more. It had simply added fuel to fire. Humans though as always were fragile which was quite evidence with her display. Her heart broken right in front of him. Letting her guard down in front of someone that might as well be her enemy was not exactly idealistic. His amber eye gazed at her almost like a predator at its prey. Slowly though she spoke once again. "I love you Sesshomaru as a son, and I will never stop loving you no matter what it takes." At those words he could not help but scoff. Her to be related to him? He rather die than ever outwardly call her mother. He only had one mother and she was still alive. Even if she had been dead he wouldn’t let a wretched human woman replace her.
The castle was quiet today. The servants must be avoiding the familiar scent. He knew that he might get some questions from those either courageous or stupid enough to ask him why she was here. Why he had not just killed her where she stood. They knew he hated the woman in front of him. If the daiyoukai had been like his half-brother or any ordinary youkai he would have killed her, controlled by his emotions but he was not the kind to. Still those words, she must really want to die once again. ”I will not repeat this again woman. Do not act as if we are close to each |
[/color] other.”[/b] He did not care if she was his family. He saw no reason why he should care for such a thing. His eyes lowered down at her. Inuyasha had been a closer relative to him by blood and he had made many attempts to kill the hanyou. Although it had stopped he had been able to tolerate the hanyou, he doubt he would do the same for the woman in front of him. Still one thing had stopped him from killing her. No it was not his liking for her. Sure he had learned to tolerate humans more, he still despised her a great amount for what she had done. No, instead he was curious. Who had brought her back? He highly doubt she could just come back, especially seeing that she had been given her own flesh. That meant that someone had done it. Spirits cannot walk along this world with real flesh. Yet he had caught her scent meaning that she had a body or some kind of medium. Now who had either cared for her or loathed him so much as to given it to her? "What I want to forget, is the pain that is too white. I had always told myself I would believe the scar won't go away." So she wanted to be released? If so then why not just die? It should not be too hard. Once one die, he would even save her soul from the netherworld if it meant that she would not bother him. Of course he no longer had the method though. A shame really. The subject changed when she had stared at his sword. "You got Tenseiga?" ”Yes he informed her. Although that was not the only weapon he has obtained as he also have the Bakusiga. It was the sword he had created from his own body. The ability to kill a thousand demon. Yet unlike when he had possessed his half-brother’s sword, he did not kill it mercilessly. He did not kill without reason. He used it to protect his father’s land and slay whoever that dare block his path. It was his own sword. The thought still amazed him. To be able to create his own sword without help from the blacksmith. It was a power he never knew he had. He gazed down at the sword before flicking his eye back towards his guest. "Such a beautiful castle." She seemed to be trying to distract herself from her tears. Strange though. She loved this castle but he loathed it. Loathed it for the memories he had in here. Memories he wished would simply vanished. ”I suppose it would be for you.” He commented. He never knew much about her but seeing that she was human, a demon castle was most likely greater than whatever household she had lived in. ”You may explore it if you wish.” He permitted her with a gesture towards the hallway. ”You may ask for a guide or explore it yourself.” He told her. He had better things to do than entertain her. Still seeing that this had once been his father’s castle it would only make sense to allow her to explore it. If it meant that he would not see her much, he was delighted. Although whoever she happens to request for a guide...he would pray for said person. That is if he had even believed in god in the first place.
