He said, as he stared at the temple through the mist. “Was that even there before?” He asked himself, thinking about it, because honestly, about 10 feet back, he didn’t even see the building, although the mist seemed to be a pretty good cover. He walked up to the temple and knocked on the door. “Hello?” He asked as he knocked. No one answer him. “How strange.. It seems this place is abandoned..” He knocked on the door one more time, and once again, heard no answer. He opened the door, and surprisingly, it wasn’t locked or anything. He walked in the building to see that it was a temple. He looked all around him, it was nice in there, although, it was likely that something else was in there with him, because soon enough, Arashi heard a noise. “Is anyone there?” He asked, looking around. Bolting down the road was what appeared to be a huge tornado of wind and occasionally tore things up on its edge, but other than that it was a rather quiet wind. To people who did not know what was going on, they wouldn’t know that within in it was a young wolf demon simply running through the countryside. Koga was his name and he was the leader of the Wolf Demon Tribe. Thanks to Kagome and her friends, the presence of the Sacred Jewel was gone so he was able to roam the land again just for the fun of it. Although occasionally he would allow his men and wolves to feast upon humans when he couldn’t find anything for them to eat while he was out hunting. Of course, even though he was still married to Ayame, he still held a small crush and soft spot for Kagome no matter what would happen. But he knew well enough that she cared for that mutt face Inuyasha and even loved him. But he wasn’t one to normally give up on something that he really felt strongly about. For instance, when he saw all of his comrades fall thanks to the wind sorceress Kagura.
Today he wasn’t planning on doing anything spectacular, except to perhaps meet up with Kagome again. He had heard rumors that after three years of disappearing, she had returned to the feudal era to stay, which he was more than happy about. If he knew her well enough, she would probably be in Kaede’s village so it would be best to look there first. Besides, since she did like to hang around the mutt quite a lot, he would be able to pick up his foul scent soon enough. That mutt just annoyed him to no end and he wished he was there to see the end of Naraku, but instead he had to take of his Tribe and worry about getting away from Ginta and Hakkaku. Those two would follow him around all over the place when he was perfectly capable of taking care of himself, without their help.
The gust of wind that surrounded him slowly started to disappear when he came upon a large mist up ahead. No matter how many times he had passed this area, he had never come upon this before. Stopping in his tracks, he slid briefly across the ground to slow himself down and looked around. Sniffing the air, he didn’t find anything peculiar about it, but it still irked him enough to stop and look at it. Normally he wouldn’t care too much about anything like this anymore since Naraku was long gone but there was something about it that pulled him in. Maneuvering through the mist was easy enough thanks to his sharp senses and his feet soon took him to a temple. Odd, I don’t remember seeing this before, he mused to himself. Well since he was here, the least he could do was check it out.
As he walked closer to the building, his nose picked up the presence of another demon nearby. Frowning he wondered what demon would be stupid enough to go towards a holy place such as this. Of course, he wasn’t stupid enough to go through it since he would most likely be purged from it or prevented from walking a certain distance if it held a barrier. But from what he could smell, there wasn’t any barrier blocking his path and he twitched his tail lightly as he heard someone young man speaking up ahead. “Yo, what’s a demon like you wandering around here for?”
